Nomads

NOMADS is a free multiplayer tribe game that runs in your browser. You are the king on horseback, and your tribe follows wherever you ride.

GATHER AND GROW. Ride past trees, rocks, tall grass and game, and your kin get to work on their own: felling, mining, reaping, hunting, fishing. Spend food to recruit more of them.

ARM YOUR TRIBE. Axes, bows, hammers, scythes, swords, pikes, shields and helmets. Every tool does a job and fights in its own way.

INVENT. Every level gives an invention point. Bronze, silver and gold inventions open farming, armour, turrets and gates, bigger stores and a bigger tribe.

FIGHT. Other players' tribes, barbarian raiders and a dragon share the land with you. Sound the horn to call your kin out of a fight, or charge together.

SURVIVE THE NIGHT. When the sun goes down you see only what your lantern and your campfires light.

TWO WAYS TO PLAY. TRIBES: every tribe for itself, in rounds that end in a final. KINGDOM: teams at war over villages, with workshops to build, masters to hire and monuments to defend.

MAKE IT YOURS. Pick your colours, your horse and your leader's traits before you ride out.

Play with friends from one link, alone against bots, on a desktop or on a phone. Every picture, sound and tune in the game is made in code.

• Space: the horn (TO ME!), H: charge, N: keep the peace
• R: recruit, F: campfire, C: water bucket
• 1-8: hand a tool to the nearest kinsman, Q: shield, E: helmet
• G: sow grain, Z: turret, X: gate, V: tear down
• I: inventions, O: the whole map, Enter: chat, M: sound, Esc: settings
• Mouse wheel or + / -: zoom

• Drag on the ground: ride. Tap the buttons for everything else.
